A widowed ex-DEA agent retires to a small town for the sake of his 10-year-old daughter. The only problem is he picked the wrong town.
Action Thriller - Like many other Jason Statham films, this is a violent action film
though there isn't as much of his martial arts moves as usual.
There's also a supporting cast of recognizable stars such as James
Franco, Winona Ryder, and Kate Bosworth. Constant language, sexual
content, and drug content in addition to the violence make the film
inappropriate for kids.

Berardinelli, Internet CriticFull Review Above Average It's adequately made and delivers as expected.
Roger EbertFull Review Above Average On that score, "Homefront" is better than average.
USA TodayFull Review Above Average As modern-day Rambo, Statham does what he can with a thankless role, and he's still a charge when he's giving what-for to bullies.
Entertainment WeeklyFull Review Average Thanks to such immoderate performances as hers, the whole movie has a pulpy, purple, over-the-topness to it, which makes it kind of a guilty pleasure, in a low-rent, Southern Gothic way.
