Action Sci-Fi - Like the previous three films in the series, this is a very loud and
very long (nearly 3 hours) science fiction/action film based on the
popular toy line and animated series. None of the actors of the
previous films return, but fans of Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, and
Kelsey Grammer should enjoy. Blood is minimal, but the many fights
between robots and scenes of destruction may be too intense for very

As is so common with these types of movies, the reviews from "Professional Movie Critics" rarely match those of ordinary moviegoers and "Age of Extinction" is no exception. While critics, mostly, rated it "below average," most moviegoers enjoyed it very much, with a large percentage loving it.
CHILDREN: Great Reviews!
TEENS: Great reviews from both the males and females. Nearly all of them loved it.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: Very good reviews from the males. Half loved "Age of Extinction," with another quarter rating it "above average." Two females loved it, two rated it "above average" and one rated it just average.
ADULTS: GREAT REVIEWS from the males! Most loved it with just a small percentage rating it a little on the low side. The female reviews are very good but not quite great. Two-thirds loved it but quite a few only rated it "average."
