The entire Muppets gang is on a global tour, selling out grand theaters in some of Europe's most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid, Dublin and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by
Constantine -- the World's Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit -- and his dastardly sidekick Dominic,
aka Number Two.
Comedy - This is another musical comedy starring the popular puppet troupe.
None of the human stars from the previous film return this time, and
this film is more adventure-oriented than the last. There is some
mature humor, but overall this is all-ages appropriate, with the
violent moments played for laughs.
OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
Based on a theater exit polling of 57 moviegoers:
CHILDREN: Almost all the kids rated it really high.
TEENS: A few males really enjoyed "Muppet's Most Wanted," but half only felt it was an average movie, which actually isn't bad since this is clearly a kids movie. The lone female loved it.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: Only three females provided a review. One loved it, one rated it "above average" and one rated it just "average."
ADULTS:About 20% to 30% of the males and females really enjoyed "Muppet's Most Wanted." Unfortunately, 70% to 80% only felt it was an "average" movie. Considering this movie is targeted at kids, these adult reviews are decent.
