Peter desperately tries to save his one true love, across time, against the forces of darkness, even as Pearly does everything in his power to take him down--winner take all and loser be damned. What Peter needs is a miracle, but only time will tell if he can find one.
Drama Fantasy Mystery - This is a romance with a much stronger fantasy element than even the
advertising suggests. Fans of Colin Farrell will definitely enjoy,
with the other known actors in the film such as Russell Crowe,
Jennifer Connelly, Will Smith, and William Hurt having much smaller
roles. Some sexual content and disturbing images make the film of
caution to parents of young children.
PROFANITY: 1 S-word; 1 GD; a few others. SEX/NUDITY: A sex scene without nudity. VIOLENCE: Some fighting. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: Some alcohol. ACTION: Fights, destruction, chases. COMEDY: Comic lines and kid humor.
USA TodayFull Review Average Romantic fantasy fails to enrapture or even keep our attention as it careens across eras.
Entertainment WeeklyFull Review Average 'Winter's Tale' is ambitious with its otherworldly ingredients and temporal leaps. It's not always a success, but the movie has one thing going for it: spot-on casting.

OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
Based on a theater exit polling of 106 moviegoers:
TEENS: The one male loved "Winter's Tale," as did three-quarters of the ladies. Most of the remaining ladies felt it was just an "average" movie.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: Two males loved it and one rated it "above average," which indicates a movie he enjoyed very much but didn't love. Two of the three females loved "Winter's Tale" with the third female indicating it was an "average" movie.
ADULTS:Very mixed reviews! About half the males and females either loved it or enjoyed it very much, rating it "above average." Unfortunately, a large percentage felt it was only an "average" movie (enjoyable but nothing special or memorable). Also, a few were disappointed, only rating it "fair."
