A young couple suffering from arrested development who are forced to live next to a fraternity house after the birth of their newborn baby.
Comedy - Like most Seth Rogen-starring comedies, this is a very crude, hard-R
rated film aimed at young adult males. Fans of Zac Efron and Rose
Byrne will also enjoy though the other recognizable star, Lisa
Kudrow, has only a small part. Drug and sex humor and constant
language make the film not for kids.
Seth Rogen THIS IS THE END, THE GUILT TRIP, 50/50 Rose Byrne INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2, THE INTERNSHIP Zac Efron THAT AWKWARD MOMENT, AT ANY PRICE, THE PAPERBOY Director:Nicholas Stoller THE FIVE YEAR ENGAGEMENT, GET HIM TO THE GREEK
PROFANITY: Over 30 F-words; over 30 S-words; 2 GD's; many others. SEX/NUDITY: Brief sex with related nudity. VIOLENCE: Fights and hits all played for laughs. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: Alcohol, marijuana, cocaine. ACTION: A big fight. COMEDY: Banter, wisecracks, physical humor, all often crude and raunchy.
Berardinelli, Internet CriticFull Review Good Neighbors is probably the best comedy of the year so far and offers what too many of its fellows fail to provide: edgy humor with a slice of intelligence and insight.
Roger EbertFull Review Above Average You will laugh. Maybe not nearly as much as during "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" or "Superbad" but there is a steady stream of inducements to at least chuckle with regularity. You may even applaud, as my audience did... You will also groan at some of the more inappropriate moments...
USA TodayFull Review Good ...this Revenge of the Bros can be a hoot. Puerile, yes, smutty often, but also a lot of fun. And it's not a boys club when it comes to crazy antics. Byrne gets to be as outrageously funny as Rogen and Efron.

OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
Based on a theater exit polling of 118 moviegoers:
TEENS:Great reviews from both the males and females. Over half loved "Neighbors," with another 15 to 20 percent rating it "above average." The last 15 to 20 percent felt it was only an "average" movie, which isn't a bad review but it indicates a little disappointment.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: Great reviews from both the males and females. Most really enjoyed "Neighbors" and only fifteen-percent rated it a little on the low side.
ADULTS:This is obviously a story most enjoyed by younger moviegoers. These adult reviews are very mixed. Half of both the males and females really enjoyed "Neighbors," with another quarter rating it, at least, "average." Unfortunately, a quarter were very disappointed in this movie.
