Storyline Heading
The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original "X-Men" film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from the past, "X-Men: First Class," in order to change a major historical event and fight an epic battle that could save our future.
.
Movie Type (Genre) Heading
Action Adventure Fantasy - The latest film in the superhero action/sci-fi series combines casts of both the original X-Men film trilogy and the First Class prequel, with Hugh Jackman leading the way. Many of the actors from the original three films have small to very fleeting roles, but fans of Jackman, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Michael Fassbender will really enjoy. Language, adult situations, and some violent action scenes and deaths make the film too intense for young children.

Critic's Review Heading

Berardinelli, Internet Critic Full Review
Very Good ...this is the most unique and audacious genre entry in a couple of years and, on those terms alone, it deserves to be seen.

Roger Ebert Full Review
Above Average While the film's uncanny cast doesn't get enough time to show off, they are at least charming enough to make you want more.

USA Today Full Review
Very Good 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' shows humanity and humor.

NY Post Full Review
Very Good Bryan Singer's whip-smart and witty time-travel romp "X-Men: Days of Future Past'' blows a breath of fresh air through the musty Marvel universe...
