Suffice to say, plans for a weekend celebrating Candace and Michael's nuptials go awry when everyone's various misadventures get the gang into compromising situations that threaten to derail the big event. Can these relationships survive against the backdrop of Vegas?
Comedy - This is a sequel to the hit ensemble romantic comedy, and while all
of the cast members return with some new additions, it is less
balanced from a story and character standpoint, with Kevin Hart,
Terrence J, and Regina Hall getting most of the focus and others,
while still present and with their own little plots, getting
comparatively less attention. Young adults are again the target,
raunchy humor and some moderate language will make the film of
caution to parents.
PROFANITY: 6 S-words; a number of others. SEX/NUDITY: Sensuality and sexy dancing in skimpy clothes. VIOLENCE: Fighting played for laughs. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: Tobacco, marijuana, frequent alcohol. ACTION: A comic brawl. COMEDY: Constant banter, wisecracks, physical gags, often suggestive.
Roger EbertFull Review Below Average It's a jubilant departure—but it's also a glaring reminder of how little else the film has to offer. And it's enough to make you wish Michael and Candace had just eloped.
USA TodayFull Review Below Average Silly, unfunny and formulaic, the film features the same crew (plus a few extra players) from 2012's substantially fresher Think Like a Man.
Entertainment WeeklyFull Review Below Average In several instances, you can sense that director Tim Story simply rolled the proverbial ball out to Hart on the court and called the play: Make it funny. Hart scores occasionally, but Think Like a Man Too loses by double digits.
NY PostFull Review Very Poor If "Think Like a Man Too" was a man, he would be the world's worst date: humorless, shrill, speaking primarily in clichés ("what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!") and absolutely terrified of women.
