Crime Drama - This is a dark, violent, and slow
post-apocalyptic thriller that is a
mostly two character piece for stars
Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson.
Fans of the latter will especially
enjoy his change of pace
performance. Language and brutal
violence make the film not for kids,
so parents of young TWILIGHT fans

Roger EbertFull Review Good What separates his film from the numerous what-if examinations of the genre known as post-apocalyptic is a focus on the human condition instead of setting.
USA TodayFull Review Average Actually, very little is verbalized in this grim, deliberately paced sci-fi Western set in the Australian outback.
NY PostFull Review Average Despite the dense dust-caked atmosphere and a spiky, unnerving score by Antony Partos, Michôd's film adds up to little more than existentialist moaning punctuated by the occasional gunfight.
