Storyline Heading
Set backstage in the minutes before three iconic product launches spanning Jobs' career-beginning with the Macintosh in 1984, and ending with the unveiling of the iMac in 1998-Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter.

Movie Type (Genre) Heading
Drama - This is not by any means a conventional biopic of the Apple founder but a fact-based yet heavily fictionalized portrait of the man that unfolds in three long, separate scenes--much like a stage play. Those looking for a more traditional and comprehensive biography should be warned. Fans of stars Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen, and Jeff Daniels will have plenty to savor in this big acting showcase. Language and adult subject matter make the film not for kids.

Critic's Review Heading

Roger Ebert Full Review
Very Good The fact that he doesn't try to redeem these flawed, fascinating figures—or even try to make you like them in the slightest way—feels like an innovation in itself.

USA Today Full Review
Very Good Steve Jobs is a fascinating study of a man, explaining who he was but never making a judgment about who he is. The movie lets audiences compute that for themselves.

NY Post Full Review
Good It's a cliché to say that Apple changed the world, but how and why did that happen? "Steve Jobs” is robust and entertaining, but the answer it provides is incomplete.

Rolling Stone Full Review
Excellent ..., score a triumph for Steve Jobs , written, directed and acted to perfection, and so fresh and startling in conception and execution that it leaves you awed.

OPINION OVERVIEW
The following is the original "What's Worth Watching" write-up for this movie.

Moviegoer Opinions:

Based on a theater exit polling of 22 moviegoers:
TEENS:The one male and one female loved it.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: Great reviews from both the males and females (unfortunately we weren't able to collect very many reviews).
ADULTS: These reviews are very mixed, to say the least. It's very unusual to see such mixed reviews. It appears that you will either love it or you will be somewhat to very disappointed. Unfortunately, there weren't enough moviegoers seeing this movie, when we collected reviews, for our moviegoer reviews to be very accurate.
