NY PostFull Review Average To be fair, Ferrell is almost always at least mildly funny, even when doing something as lame as skateboarding into a power line, but Wahlberg's cowboy shtick just seems half-hearted.

OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
Based on a theater exit polling of 91 moviegoers:
CHILDREN: Four of the five enjoyed "Daddy's Home" very much. Only one rated it as low as "good/average."
TEENS: Seven of the nine ladies loved "Daddy's Home." Another one enjoyed it very much with the last one giving it a "good/average" rating. One male loved it, one rated it "above average." The remaining two felt it was only a "good/average" movie, which is a bit low but certainly not a bad review.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: One male loved it, one rated it "above average" and the last one was disappointed and only rated it "fair." As for the females, three loved it and two felt it was a "good/average" movie.
ADULTS: Forty-percent of the males and 60% of the females loved "Daddy's Home." Another 20% of both males and females enjoyed it very much. The remaining, nearly 40% of males and 20% of females rated it "good/average," (enjoyable but nothing special or memorable).
