The friendly-but-forgetful blue tang fish reunites with her loved ones, and everyone learns a few things about the real meaning of family along the way.
Animated Adventure Comedy - While a sequel to the popular animated family comedy Finding
Nemo, it's more of a spin-off for its breakout supporting
character Dory, and so Ellen DeGeneres fans will have plenty to enjoy
here. However, the lead of the first film, Albert Brooks, returns in
a prominent supporting capacity, so fans of his character should be
pleased. A number of other familiar stars such as Idris Elba join
the cast as new characters. There is no objectionable content here
and nearly all parents should find this safe for nearly all kids
though some action moments may be intense for very, very young children.

Roger EbertFull Review Good ... it is a relief to note that the follow-up has plenty of emotional hooks, some great lines and is no stinker, despite simply following what amounts to the same plot current as before except to the Pacific Coast of California instead of the Great Barrier Reef of Australia.
USA TodayFull Review Above Average While the animation is still top-notch and a slew of new waterlogged personalities buoy the story, it doesn't have nearly the same sense of heart, wonder and awe as Nemo.
NY PostFull Review Very Good ...the mesmerizingly beautiful "Finding Dory” gently tugs at your heart en route to a hilariously spectacular chase climax. A worthy sequel, it falls slightly short of being the masterpiece that the groundbreaking "Finding Nemo” was.
Rolling StoneFull Review Very Good If Finding Dory lacks the fresh surprise of its predecessor, it still brims with humor, heart and animation miracles. Over the end credits, Sia sings "Unforgettable." She got that right.
