Movie Type (Genre) Heading
Animated Adventure Comedy - This is the fifth installment of the popular animal-centric period animated comedy series, and like the others this is targeted to and safe viewing for the whole family. Some mild toilet humor may give some parents some pause, but most will find it harmless silliness. Fans of the main, returning voice actor leads Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, and Denis Leary should enjoy.

Critic's Review Heading

Berardinelli, Internet Critic Full Review
Average Oh, it's projected on multiplex screens but it is, at best, an oversized, overbudgeted Saturday morning cartoon.

Roger Ebert Full Review
Average It's almost as if the writers were simply using ideas left over from other 'Ice Age' scripts that are about as fresh as the wind beneath Sid's fleas, to quote one of the sloth's pickup lines.

NY Post Full Review
Average But the fifth installment, 'Collision Course,' feels both deeply rote and way overpacked with characters.
