Storyline Heading
The products at Shopwell's Grocery Store are made to believe a code that helps them live happy lives until it's time for them to leave the comfort of the supermarket and head for the great beyond.
.
Movie Type (Genre) Heading
Animated Adventure Comedy - Despite being an animated feature starring various food and grocery products come to life, this is a strictly adults only comedy, with nonstop profanity, violence, crude humor, and some lengthy and graphic sexual situations. Fans of Seth Rogen and his brand of crass, in-your-face humor should enjoy. But it cannot be stressed enough that this is strictly not for kids at all, nor for any sensitive and easily offended viewers, not only for its crude sexual gags but also humor skewering religion and ethnicity.

Critic's Review Heading

Roger Ebert Full Review
Average ...spectacularly relentless in its profanity and sex talk and extends the metaphor of anthropomorphic groceries into territory you and I might not have even imagined.

USA Today Full Review
Above Average ...Sausage Party is packed with surprising depth as it utilizes complete lunacy and clever bites to cobble together something wholly different in the cartoon space, even though at times the wacky film does itself a disservice by aiming for shocks rather than smarts.

NY Post Full Review
Above Average Seth Rogen's raunchy "Sausage Party” contains occasional flashes of satirical brilliance. But in true stoner form, it also thinks a lot of stuff is funnier than it actually is.

Rolling Stone Full Review
Good Did I see this movie or hallucinate it? I mean that as high praise. Seth Rogen, who wrote the script with Evan Goldberg, Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir, has dreamed for years of dishing out an R-rated cartoon...
