Arthur Bishop thought he had put his murderous past behind him when his most formidable foe kidnaps the love of his life. Now he is forced to travel the globe to complete three impossible assassinations, and do what he does best, make them look like accidents.
Action Crime Thriller - Like the first film, this is a big action vehicle for star Jason
Statham. The supporting cast in this one--Jessica Alba, Michelle
Yeoh, and especially Tommy Lee Jones, who has only an extended
cameo--only have small supporting roles; fans of Yeoh may especially
be disappointed that she does not have any action scenes. Violence,
language, and some mild sexuality make the film not for kids.
PROFANITY: 10 F-words; 4 S-words; 2 GD's; a few others. SEX/NUDITY: Brief sex without nudity. VIOLENCE: Fights and shootings with blood. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: Alcohol and tobacco. ACTION: Fights, shootouts, chases, explosions. COMEDY: Rare comic lines and situations.
Roger EbertFull Review Below Average "Mechanic: Resurrection” suffers from a storyline and script that strains credulity and insults intelligence even by the low bar set by the majority of contemporary action movies. ...surely the producers could have invested some of their financing in a script with more inventiveness and engagement power than the one they had on set.
