Action Horror Thriller - This is an extremely violent thriller with an ensemble cast, the most
familiar of which are Tony Goldwyn and John C. McGinley. Very brutal
and bloody violence and constant language make this not for kids.

Roger EbertFull Review Below Average Gunn's unimaginative conception of a "Battle Royale" meets "Office Space" style horror film—I just bet that that was the elevator pitch—holds a decent cast back from dying meaningful deaths. Even the most diehard gorehounds and Gunn supporters should give this stinker a pass.
NY PostFull Review Below Average ...could have been sociologically meaningful or even satirically amusing. Instead, it's just a bloodbath — though "bath” seems inadequate to describe the quantity of gore on offer. Blood ocean, maybe, or blood volcano.
Rex ReedFull Review Poor Nasty and aggressively nauseating... ...made and marketed for the sole purpose of shock and schlock. It succeeds as both, but the result seems psychologically bewildering and pointless.
Slant MagazineFull Review Average The film's characters are stock types without enough satirical texture to fulfill their function in the narrative.

OPINION OVERVIEW The following is the original "What's Worth
Watching" write-up for this movie.
Based on a theater exit polling of 25 moviegoers:
It appears that teen males are the only group who enjoyed this movie. Just over 40% of them loved it with another 40% enjoying it very much. As for the other age/gender groups, I have never seen so much gray in the opinion graph before.
