Several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a dollmaker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the dollmaker's possessed creation, Annabelle.
Horror Mystery Thriller - This supernatural horror film is a prequel to the previous killer
doll film and is set in the 1960s. While the main characters are
pre-teen girls, and language minimal, the film is much too scary and
intense for kids, and the brief outbursts of violence can get bloody.
The pace is more slow and atmospheric than the previous film, so
fans of more in-your-face horror might be disappointed. Teens and
young adults are the target audience.
