Storyline Heading
Several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a dollmaker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the dollmaker's possessed creation, Annabelle.
.
Movie Type (Genre) Heading
Horror Mystery Thriller - This supernatural horror film is a prequel to the previous killer doll film and is set in the 1960s. While the main characters are pre-teen girls, and language minimal, the film is much too scary and intense for kids, and the brief outbursts of violence can get bloody. The pace is more slow and atmospheric than the previous film, so fans of more in-your-face horror might be disappointed. Teens and young adults are the target audience.

The females really enjoyed it with 6 of the 8 indicating that they loved it. The seventh one rated it "above average," and the last one rated it "average."
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: Great reviews from both the males and females. All five females loved it, as did 3 of the 6 males, with the remaining 3 females indicating that they enjoyed it very much, rating it "above average."
ADULTS: Five of the eight males loved it, one rated it "above average," and two felt it was just an "average" movie. Just under half the ladies loved it with another 30% rating it "above average." About 20% felt it was just an "average" movie and, unfortunately, about 10% hated it.
