The world's top bodyguard gets a new client, a hit man who must testify at the International Court of Justice. They must put their differences aside and work together to make it to the trial on time.
Action Comedy - This is a violent buddy action comedy that will please fans of the
top billed stars, Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson. Salma Hayek
only has a small supporting role. Constant language, brutal
violence, and some raunchy humor make the film not for kids.

Roger EbertFull Review Above Average The charismatic stars of "The Hitman's Bodyguard”all combust with masterful comic chemistry as they play off their well-established cinematic personas. As for the high-speed vehicular stunts, they are breathless, relentless, endless—and a bit too numbingly generic.
USA TodayFull Review Average Chock-full of familiarity, the middling buddy film is a rather basic mash-up of what made its two A-list stars famous. For Reynolds and especially Jackson completists, The Hitman's Bodyguard has something to offer even if the action flick can't completely find its aim.
NY PostFull Review Poor ..."The Hitman's Bodyguard” really seems to revel in explosively bloody shots to the head, scoring gunfights with a bombastic chorus of male voices chanting "Hoo! Ha!” Which would be laughable if the whole thing weren't so mean-spirited.
Rolling StoneFull Review Above Average Reynolds and Jackson make this summer lunacy go down easy with their banter and bullet-dodging skills. They're the only reason that The Hitman's Bodyguard doesn't completely sink into the generic quicksand from whence it came.
