Madea and the gang are back for this hilarious sequel. Madea, Bam and Hattie venture to a haunted campground and the group must literally run for their lives when monsters, goblins and the bogeyman are unleashed.
Comedy - The latest comedy starring Tyler Perry's popular grandmother
character is more of a horror comedy than last year's films, but as
can be expected the film is only "horror" by genre definition and
definitely all comedy. Fans of Perry's work will enjoy here.
Language plus drug and suggestive humor make the film of caution to
parents of young kids.
PROFANITY: 1 F-word; 4 S-words; many others. SEX/NUDITY: None. VIOLENCE: Comic hits and falls. DRUGS/ALCOHOL: Alcohol drinking, including by teens; some marijuana. ACTION: Some foot chases. COMEDY: Silly banter, slapstick, sight gags, sometimes suggestive; drug humor.
Roger EbertFull Review Average ...you'd expect some visual potency by now from a man who has 45 directorial credits on imDB. Don't get me wrong: Nobody is expecting Citizen Kane here. But would it hurt to make the film look presentable?
