Max and Annie, whose weekly couples game night gets
kicked up a notch when Max's charismatic brother, Brooks, arranges a murder mystery party,
complete with fake thugs and faux federal agents.

Action Comedy - This is a raunchy, outrageous, dark comedy aimed at adult moviegoers,
that also has a fair bit of over-the-top violence. Fans of Jason
Bateman, Rachel McAdams, and all the other stars will find plenty to
enjoy. Constant language to go with the violence and raunchy content
make the film definitely not for kids.

Roger EbertFull Review Very Good ...a raucously funny film that has a knack for going right up to the edge of nastiness. ...it starts out borderline ludicrous and keeps piling on improbabilities, until it leaves our world behind and become an exercise in absurdity. ...nearly perfect entertainment for adults over a certain age.
NY PostFull Review Good ...a riotous dark comedy in which a cute suburban get-together becomes a lethal nightmare. The jokes are witty, the risk is real and there's at least one thrilling plot twist. The pace is swift, too. ...excellent performance, sharp direction and a smart script make "Game Night” a worthwhile comedy, and not just another trivial pursuit.
Rolling StoneFull Review Good Game Night hits the mark more often than it hits a wall is cause for cheering. ...when the script tries to over complicate things that the movie hits a rough patches. Even as Game Night spins out of control, you stick around for the inspired lunacy. It's party time.
Slant MagazineFull Review Above Average ...a twisty mystery plot that's tightly crafted enough to generate some real narrative momentum while never getting too bogged down in its own plot that it forgets to be funny. There may be nothing particularly revolutionary about any of that, but sometimes it's enough to simply nail the basics.
