The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
Action Adventure Fantasy - This effects-heavy action-adventure brings together most of the
characters from the previous 18 Marvel Studios films, and fans of the
genre and all of the characters, except perhaps fans of the absent
ones (such as Ant-Man and Hawkeye), will be very pleased. Language
is minimal and violence is largely bloodless, but there is a lot of
action violence that will give pause to parents of young
children--not to mention this film is distinctively darker and more
downbeat than all previous films.

Berardinelli, Internet CriticFull Review Very Good This movie is a lot of fun, with a dash of substance thrown in for those who care to look... It satisfies the deep-rooted escapist desire most movie-goers experience from time-to-time with its spectacular visuals, unflagging pace......knows what it wants to be and goes about pursuing that goal with relentless intensity. An exhausting 150 minutes...
Roger EbertFull Review Above Average If only the film were better modulated, or perhaps longer, or more elegantly shaped, or ... well, it's hard to say exactly what's wrong here. But something's not up to snuff. This is, as many have pointed out, one half of a story broken in two, but it feels like less than half somehow.
USA TodayFull Review Very Good It could have been an unholy mess, but with directors Anthony and Joe Russo at the helm, Infinity War is instead a glorious, multilayered and clever comic-book adventure with loads of emotional stakes and a perfect foe for Earth's mightiest heroes.
The GuardianFull Review Very Good Supersized set pieces, sharp one-liners and surprising deaths abound in the Russo brothers' utterly confident comic-book movie mash-up. Colossal, cataclysmic, delirious, preposterous – and always surreally entertaining in the now well-established Marvel movie tradition.
