Comedy - While this Amy Schumer vehicle is a comedy, it's of a gentler
variety than her work on stage, film, and television though there
are some suggestive and raunchier gags that will cause parents of
young kids some concern. Some language, adult subject matter, and
brief sexual content make the film not for kids. Fans of Michelle
Williams will enjoy her very change of pace comic role here.

Berardinelli, Internet CriticFull Review Below Average Schumer is an appealing actress with a lot of charisma and energy, but none of that is enough to save this movie. Although she can't be held entirely blameless, the lion's share of the culpability goes to the writing/directing...
Roger EbertFull Review Above Average Schumer has long challenged traditional ideas of femininity, from her stand-up comedy work to her television series... She can be simultaneously brash and sly—swaggering, yet self-deprecating. And watching her inspired delivery and unabashed physicality is one of the film's great joys.
USA TodayFull Review Above Average Schumer doesn't reach quite the highs of her Trainwreck work...while Pretty leans dour early on until Renee has her epic spin-cycle fail. But everything, from narrative momentum to Schumer's own performance, picks up afterward
NY PostFull Review Below Average ...the lazily written "I Feel Pretty” takes a talented comic and casts her in the worst possible light (and I don't mean that literally — she looks fine).
