Adventure - This is a live action family comedy/adventure based on the popular animated television series Dora the Explorer. While aimed at a kid and family audience, and most parents would find this safe viewing for their children, there are some action scenes that may be too intense for the very young. Critic's Review Heading

Roger Ebert Full Review
Good I am here to tell you (parents) that you will be shockingly entertained. "Dora and the Lost City of Gold” manages to ride a fine line between being true to the characters and conventions of the series and affectionately skewering them.

NY Post Full Review
Good Disney, take note: This is how to do a winning live-action update of a cartoon. ...I can't remember when I've laughed out loud this much in a kids' movie. You'd never know any of this quirky stuff from the trailer, which portrays "Dora” as a generic kiddie action flick.
