Good ...the movie won't deliver any bombshell revelations to viewers who already know the outline of Cohn's life... ...it's still worth seeing for the incisive witnesses the filmmaker has gathered to recount Cohn's life and speculate on what made him tick.

Good ...Tyrnauer ties the elements together in a way that creates a ferocious, fast-paced account of a real-life supervillain. Tyrnauer's flashes of compassion for this self-hating Jew and homosexual ...remind us that his subject's toxic, insidious amorality did not go to the grave with him.

Good This sharp, to-the-point portrait of the crook, fixer, and right-wing pitbull resists the urge to darkly glamorize him. Apart from a virulent (and possibly legitimately felt) anti-communism, there's no clue here as to what powered Cohn besides rage and ambition.
