RICHARD
DREYFUSS (Sam Vigoda) received an Academy Award
for his outstanding performance in the hit comedy
"The Goodbye Girl," and most recently both an
Academy Award nomination and a HFPA Golden Globe
nomination for the critically acclaimed "Mr.
Holland's Opus." Dreyfuss' work in motion pictures
includes such box-office successes as "Jaws,"
"Close Encounters of the Third Kind" and
"Down and Out in Beverly Hills," which have
built him a worldwide following. Other films to his
credit include "American Graffiti," "The
Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz," "Who's Life
is it Anyway?," "Stand By Me,"
"Stakeout," "Tin Men,"
"Nuts," "Moon Over Parador,"
"Always," "Postcards From the Edge,"
"What About Bob?" and "Lost in
Yonkers." Recently, Dreyfuss starred with Michael
Douglas and Annette Benning in "The American
President." He recently completed filming "Mad
Dog Time," which he is also producing.
Dreyfuss' diverse talents have also
brought him recognition for his many acclaimed stage
performances in such dramas as "The Normal
Heart," "Death and the Maiden" and most
recently "Three Hotels."
