She made her American film debut in the critically acclaimed "The Unbearable Lightness of Being," and next went on to star in Paul Mazursky's "Enemies, A Love Story," for which she received the New York Film Critics' Award as well as an Academy Award nomination. Her other films include "The Night and the Moment," "Romeo is Bleeding," "Havana" and "Mr. Jones." She is currently starring with Gabriel Byrne and Claire Danes in "Polish Wedding."
