LENA
OLIN (Peggy Lindstrom) began her career
performing on stage at The Royal Dramatic Theater in her
home-town of Stockholm, Sweden. It was there that she met
up with the legendary director Ingmar Bergman, who wrote
the part of "Anna" in "After
Rehearsal" specifically for Ms. Olin. She made her
American film debut in the critically acclaimed "The
Unbearable Lightness of Being," and next went on to
star in Paul Mazursky's "Enemies, A Love
Story," for which she received the New York Film
Critics' Award as well as an Academy Award nomination.
Her other films include "The Night and the
Moment," "Romeo is Bleeding,"
"Havana" and "Mr. Jones." She is
currently starring with Gabriel Byrne and Claire Danes in
"Polish Wedding."
