Cinema Review Prediction: (before opinions) Reactions will be best with the target of young adult males, but on the whole reactions will be middling. ***** THE GREAT GATSBY PG-13 Moviegoer Opinions: Based on a theater exit polling of 114 moviegoers:
TEENS: GREAT REVIEWS from both the males and females! Three-quarters loved "The Great Gatsby." Only a relatively small percentage rated it as low as Good/Average.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: Just over half the males loved Gatsby. Unfortunately, quite a few were not very impressed and only rated it as an average movie. The females enjoyed it more than the males. Like the males, just over half loved it, but most of the rest rated it "Above Average," which indicates they enjoyed the movie very much.
ADULTS: As the age of the reviewer increases, their review becomes lower. Approximately half, of both males and females, loved "The Great Gatsby." Another 20% rated it above average. What's not very good is the high number of Good/Average reviews. These indicate a movie that did not impress them.Cinema Review Prediction: (before opinions) Reactions will be good for this romantic drama, especially among females of all ages. Younger adults in general will probably enjoy more than older ones. Average critic rating: Average (Berardinelli, Internet Critic) Above Average (Roger Ebert) Average (USA Today) Average (Washington Post)
