THE BIG SICK R
Moviegoer Opinions:
Based on a theater exit polling of 29 moviegoers:
TEENS: None
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: Of the two males, one loved it and one enjoyed it very much, rating it "above average."
ADULTS: These are decent reviews for both the males and females but they aren't great. Approximately 30% of the males and females loved it with another 35% of males and 30% of females indicating that they enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately, a fairly large percentage felt it was only an "average" movie (especially the ladies). Surprisingly, 15% to 20% actually rated it "below average." So, I would suggest that you research this movie to determine if it is likely a story you will enjoy because quite a few didn't care much for it.

Cinema Review Prediction: (before opinions)
Reactions will be very good for this comedy, especially with the target of younger adults though older ones will also enjoy. Males and females will enjoy equally.

Average critic rating:
Very Good (Berardinelli, Internet Critic)
Very Good (Roger Ebert)
Very Good (Rolling Stone)
Good (Slant Magazine)

WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES PG-13
Moviegoer Opinions:
Based on a theater exit polling of 91 moviegoers:
CHILDREN: Two loved it and one rated it just "average."
TEENS: Nearly all the males loved "War for the Planet of the Apes." Only two of the five ladies loved it. The others felt it was only an "average" movie (enjoyable but nothing special or memorable).
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: Six of the seven males all loved it, as did both of the ladies.
ADULTS: A full 60% of the males and females loved this movie. Another 18% of the males and 25% of the females enjoyed it very much, rating it "above average." Unfortunately, just over 20% of the males and nearly 15% of the females rated it just "average," which is a bit low but not a bad review. It indicates a movie that's enjoyable but nothing special or memorable.

Cinema Review Prediction: (before opinions)
Reactions will be good for this sci-fi drama, and unlike a lot of effects-heavy blockbusters, older adults will probably enjoy more than younger ones. Males will enjoy more than females.

Average critic rating:
Very Good (Berardinelli, Internet Critic)
Very Good (Roger Ebert)
Very Good (USA Today)
Good (NY Post)
