THE BEST OF ME PG-13
Moviegoer Opinions:
Based on a theater exit polling of 69 moviegoers:
WOW! How can the, so-called, professional movie critics be so wrong? Their "average" and "poor" reviews are so much lower than the vast majority of moviegoers.
TEENS: Ok, this isn't a movie for teen males, but two did love it. Two more rated it "average." One didn't care for it. This IS a movie for teen females and nearly all of them loved "The Best of Me."
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: The two males loved it, Four of the eight females loved "The Best of Me." Two more enjoyed it very much, rating it "above average." The last two felt it was just an "average" movie.
ADULTS: ALL ten of the males loved "The Best of Me" even though this is clearly not a guys movie (so I guess it IS a guys movie). Nearly 80% of the females loved it with another 10% rating it "above average." A small percentage did rate it just "average" (enjoyable but nothing special or memorable).

Cinema Review Prediction: (before opinions)
Reactions will be best with the target audience of older women, and on the whole reactions should be good. Older adults will enjoy more than younger ones, and females over males.

Average critic rating:
Average (Roger Ebert)
Average (USA Today)
Poor (Entertainment Weekly)
Average (NY Post)

THE BOOK OF LIFE PG
Moviegoer Opinions:
Based on a theater exit polling of 65 moviegoers:
CHILDREN: GREAT REVIEWS from all the kids!
TEENS: Five of the seven males loved it with the remaining two rating it "average." Three of the five females loved "The Book of Life," with the remaining two rating it "average."
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: All five of the males and females loved it. For adults to give an animated movie, reviews this high, is uncommon and indicates a GREAT MOVIE FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY!
ADULTS: The males weren't real impressed with "The Book of Life," but these aren't bad reviews considering this is a kids movie. The female reviews are much better. Most loved it or enjoyed it very much. A little over 20% felt it was just an "average" movie.

Cinema Review Prediction: (before opinions)
Reactions will be very good across the board for this animated fantasy. Kids will give the best marks though reactions should be strong from all ages, and males and females will enjoy equally.

Average critic rating:
Good (Berardinelli, Internet Critic)
Very Good (Roger Ebert)
Above Average (USA Today)
Average (NY Post)

FURY R
Moviegoer Opinions:
Based on a theater exit polling of 102 moviegoers:
TEENS: The two females both loved "Fury." The male reviews vary widely (just like the critic reviews). Two love it, one rated it "above average" and two felt it was just an "average" movie.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: About 70% of the males loved "Fury" with another 20% rating it "above average." The remaining 10% felt it was just an "average" movie. Half the females loved it and half enjoyed "Fury" very much, rating it "above average."
ADULTS: The male and female reviews are nearly identical, which for this type of movie is unusual. Half loved "Fury" with another 25 to 30 percent indicating they enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately, about 20 to 25 percent felt it was just an "average" movie (enjoyable but nothing special or memorable).

Cinema Review Prediction: (before opinions)
Reactions will be very good for this war movie, especially with the target of adult males. Men in general will prefer over women, and reactions should be equally strong across the age range.

Average critic rating:
Average (Roger Ebert)
Good (USA Today)
Above Average (Entertainment Weekly)
Average (NY Post)
