FIFTY SHADES OF GREY R
Moviegoer Opinions:
Based on a theater exit polling of 109 moviegoers:
The professional critic reviews are certainly varied but the moviegoer reviews indicate a movie most enjoyed.
TEENS: Even with the nudity and sexual theme, these males weren't impressed. Only a few enjoyed it. About 40% of the females loved "Fifty Shades of Grey." Unfortunately, 50% felt it was only an "average" movie (enjoyable but nothing special or memorable). A few actually disliked it.
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: Great reviews from the males and even better reviews from the females.
ADULTS: About 25% of the males loved "Fifty Shades of Grey." Another 50% rated it "above average," which indicates a movie they enjoyed very much. The female reviews are very good, but not quite great. A full 50% indicated that they loved it, with another 20% rating it "above average." Unfortunately, 30% only rated it "average," which is a bit disappointing, but certainly not bad.

Cinema Review Prediction: (before opinions)
Reactions will by far be best with the target audience of women, and on the whole reactions will be good. Younger audiences will enjoy more than older ones.

Average critic rating:
Average (Roger Ebert)
Poor (USA Today)
Above Average (Entertainment Weekly)
Good (NY Post)

MORTDECAI R
Moviegoer Opinions:
Based on a theater exit polling of 34 moviegoers:
OK, I'll agree that "Mortdecai" is definitely not one of Depp's better movies, but it's certainly not as bad as the critics would have you believe.
TEENS: The one male and two females all loved "Mortdecai."
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: None
ADULTS: These reviews show that about half of both the males and females enjoyed "Mortdecai" very much. Another 40% felt it was an "average" movie (enjoyable but nothing special or memorable). What is very unusual is that almost no one rated it above "Very Good" and about 15% indicated that they hated it. So, "Mortdecai" is a bit of a gamble so a lower priced Matinee may be the way to go.

Cinema Review Prediction: (before opinions)
Reactions will be low to middling for this bawdy adventure comedy. Younger adults will enjoy more than older ones, and men over women.

Average critic rating:
Very Poor (Roger Ebert)
Below Average (USA Today)
Below Average (Entertainment Weekly)
Very Poor (NY Post)

BLACKHAT R
Moviegoer Opinions:
Based on a theater exit polling of 49 moviegoers:
TEENS: No Teens
TWENTYSOMETHINGS: All five of the males rated it "below average," which is very low, especially since it's coming from the movies core audience of young males.
ADULTS: Both the male and female reviews are mediocre at best. Approximately 20% of both groups really enjoyed "Blackhat." Unfortunately, the remaining reviews indicate a movie that most were somewhat to very disappointed in. It's rare for a movie to receive such a large percentage of "fair" and "poor" reviews. This is one of those movies where all the exciting scenes are included in the great looking trailer, but the movie itself is disappointingly slow.

Cinema Review Prediction: (before opinions)
Reactions will be best with older adults, but on the whole reactions will be middling to fairly good. Men will enjoy more than women.

Average critic rating:
Good (Berardinelli, Internet Critic)
Very Good (Roger Ebert)
Below Average (Entertainment Weekly)
Above Average (NY Post)
